A Dissatisfied Faculty Responds
A Dissatisfied Faculty RespondsIt seems that during the past few weeks, there has been a disturbance of sorts in the Miami Dade College Recesiy Papers. Several faculty and staff members have expressed their dissatisfaction with the president and with some of the decisions the college is making. The American Association of University Professors has sent a letter to Miami Dade College requesting that it immediately halt any plan to cut the number of faculty members who teach, and that it halt any plans to hire new faculty members at the college. The Miami Dade College Recesiy Papers is currently filling up with articles criticizing its president. In one article, the president of the college calls the professor, Dr. Joseph Figura, a bully who is jealous of the college's academic success. In another article, the president argues that it is unfair for the college to receive so much federal aid because they do not create enough jobs. And in yet another article, he rants about the fact that 'U.S. Government knows how the economy works' and therefore they know how to save money by cutting programs that benefit education. In addition to calling Joseph Figura a bully, the president also argues that when Figura's husband, Richard Figura, a fellow professor at the college, was given an award for developing a computer program that teaches students about international affairs, that Figura wrote a letter to the White House congratulating his husband for this accomplishment. At the time that Richard Figura received the award, the president argued that there were no positions available for the college at the State Department, which was the college's area of expertise. There is no doubt that the Miami Dade College Recesiy Papers has played a role in negatively impacting the college's reputation. The president is acting very childish, and some faculty members are growing disillusioned with the college and its president. There are also rumors circulating that the president's wife's a ccomplishments will soon be on display in front of thousands of students. All in all, the Miami Dade College Recesiy Papers has served to divide the college's faculty and staff. As the college seeks to bring new faculty members to the college, it appears that there will be a backlash in the form of articles complaining about the college's leadership. With so many programs and initiatives being funded by the federal government, it would be a shame if some members of the college's faculty and staff chose to complain about the college's financial problems instead of focusing on those programs and initiatives that benefit students. The Miami Dade College Recesiy Papers has also cost the college's enrollment. The Miami Dade College Recesiy Papers is the most popular online source for information in the community. The college is also one of the top 50 colleges in the country. All in all, the Miami Dade College Recesiy Papers is an important tool in educating the community about the college. Hopefully, with the recent fuss, the president and the college will work toward a common goal, which is to bring back the faculty to teach and students to attend classes. This will help to improve the quality of education on campus. As a college, Miami Dade College Recesiy Papers is now dealing with a significant problem. There are many questions left unanswered, but by moving forward and addressing the issues, the college can begin to move forward.
